Our extensive wood chipper range includes models that meet the demands for both bioenergy and landscaping applications. FARMI chippers have been designed with ease of use, productivity and, of course, safety in mind. The chippers are available as manual feeders and crane feeders. The smallest manual feed models are designed for producing landscaping chips and the crane-fed models for energy chips.
Our three-step wood chipping process produces clean chips with consistent quality
All of our chippers, except for the manual feed CH27 model, have a wide feeding angle, which reduces the need for energy. As wood is fed at an angle to the blade disc, cutting requires less power than a more direct feed.
With the exception of the CH10 chipper, the other models have an adjustable chip size. In the CH27 and CH38 chipper, the adjustment is made by moving the blade holders.
By purchasing your own wood chipper, you can make your chips whenever it best suits you. You get to avoid having to depend on others’ schedules or on rental machines.
Manual feed wood chippers
The latest CH27 and CH18 manual wood chipper models meet the strict criteria of the latest EN 13525 standard for wood chippers. The latest safety provisions require an inbuilt electronic feeding control system for wood chippers. Our wood chippers also use the smart, self-learning Smart Feed control system.
CRANE-FED WOOD CHIPPERS
When the wood chipper is exposed to maximum loading, the significance of the control relay is emphasised. The new self-learning Smart Feed control system reacts quickly enough to the number of rounds and will stop the feeding system if necessary. This prevents the wood chipper from getting blocked. The Smart Feed control also includes an automatic pressure reversal feature, which significantly improves the smoothness of work. If the system’s maximum pressure lasts more than 2 seconds, the infeed chute performs a short, automatic reversal. This allows the machine user to focus on controlling the crane as there is no need for taking hands off the crane control unit.
